Visa Pathway

The Immaculata Living development will employ a sizeable permanent team, with the majority involved in senior care, and would thus qualify a limited number of investors for U.S. permanent residency under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.

Key Considerations

  • Full Investment Threshold: The project is not located in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA), so the standard EB-5 threshold of $1,050,000 applies.
  • Limited Job Creation: The development is projected to create approximately 50 permanent, qualifying jobs. As a result, we anticipate allocating EB-5 eligibility to the top 5 qualifying investors, based on contribution size and USCIS requirements (each investor must create at least 10 jobs).
  • No Visa Handling: We do not provide immigration or legal advice. However, we will work closely with your legal representatives and provide all necessary project documentation and third-party verifications to support your petition, including:
    • Economic impact reports
    • Construction budgets and job creation forecasts
    • Third-party assurance from a Big Four audit firm

Next Steps

If you are considering the EB-5 route, we strongly encourage you to:

  1. Engage an experienced U.S. immigration attorney early in the process.
  2. Notify us when registering interest that you intend to apply under EB-5 so we can confirm eligibility and job creation figures.
  3. Be prepared to invest at least $1,050,000 USD – note this number may increase depending on demand, final job creation ratios and changes in US law.

This information is provided for general guidance only. Participation in this project does not guarantee EB-5 eligibility or visa approval, which are subject to U.S. immigration laws and review by USCIS.
